BETH PRIOR / BPC (Beth Prior Collective)
The BPC kicked off this year with the release of the “Cult” EP, playing it out live for the first time in front of 1000’s of people whilst supporting Bob Marley’s infamous live band, The Wailers on their UK Tour. At their most euphoric they have been likened to the antipodean legends of dub ‘Fat Freddy’s Drop’ whilst seamlessly diverging into Jazz influenced Hip-Hop, with Beth at the centre, delivering a performance that has become synonymous with the collective sound. With an arsenal of festivals under their belt in 2019 including, Chai Wallahs at Green Man, Boomtown, and the BBC Introducing stage at Latitude championed by their local BBC intro team and Lopa Kothari (BBC R3 World/Roots Presenter) who spoke very highly of the collective sound and in particular the vocal harmony work which is weaved so proudly into the collective sound.
“What viewers of the BPC will be left with is the sheer proficiency of musicianship on display, and the amount of fun they have doing it... with their raw yet melodic sound, it makes them a joy to experience live. Raw, Musical, Beautiful... “ Tom Bonnington, Oxford Culture Review.

“Musicians are ten-a-penny. Musicians like Beth are harder to find. She’s a hard worker, a true grafter. Her songwriting is beautiful and her rise up the ranks of musicianship has been one we’ve followed for several years. What’s nice about Beth’s rise is that she brings other artists up with her, striving to support young people and newcomers to the music industry wherever she can. Her dedication to her music career is exemplary and can be seen in the work she’s already produced and her dedicated fan-base.”
Adam Crowther, Presenter – BBC Introducing
"Beth is always at the centre of any crowd she performs in. Her sound is infectious and never fails to get you moving. Her vocals are solid and it feels like they always will be."
Sam Fleet, BBC Introducing
“The British singer/songwriter manages to enthral the audience (with) the way she writes and communicates her innermost thoughts in a brazenly honest way. Puts me into a musical trance (with her) soul filled voice after only a few minutes. Faultless."
Krister Wiberg, Musikknyheter.no
“Beth Prior was sensational, the atmosphere amazing and everyone was totally captivated. Fast quips and witty lyrics!”
